Clarus understands that the software development process begins with sound goals and objectives that support the business needs and stakeholders of the organization. Our goal is to help build a solid foundation on which the rest of the SDLC can be built, and at the point where it is most cost efficient. This approach helps ensure our clients fully understand their stakeholder needs as well as those of the organization. Once the needs are known tactical and strategic objectives can be determined for software implementation and customer service. After these objectives are understood and fully communicated, we begin to define the requirements.
Process, Methodology, and Procedure Analysis
Clarus understands the benefits of a structured software development process and the need for flexibility. We have helped define new methodologies and have assessed existing software lifecycle, looking for hidden risks or drawbacks which might threaten schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
Data Migration, Planning, and Implementation
Our experience extends to performing extensive pre-implementation assessments of the software and hardware installations. Clarus evaluates the actual steps - project plans, agreed upon schedules, requirements, contractual commitments, development methods, data migration, cutover plans, etc.- identify risks and issues for management. These assessments are used to help foster the communication of all parties involved so that they can be intelligently discussed and understood, before the cutover. Finally, we have extensive experience in assessing, tracking, and monitoring post implementation activities to help ensure that they are properly managed and communicated, including lessons learned.
